The paragraph in question is a simple one, but very clear in what rights it hands over to Medium. It should be just as simple, to rewrite that paragraph to conform with the assurances being passed down by Support personnel. In fact that's probably all any of the writers want right now. It feels like someone is hiding a note behind their back, while assuring everyone in the office that they really have nothing to fear. Then why not just show everyone the note?

Make the changes and 99% of the chatter goes away.
