There is no one reason for mass shootings because there is no one person doing them. Call it mental illness, call it poor nurturing, call it genetics (my grandfather was nuts) whatever you call it, it needs to change.

When I was growing up in NY there was an intersection in a small town (my town) that traffic liked to blow through. It was handy, it was convenient and no one wanted to slow it down.

Not even after one bad accident, followed by a really bad accident, followed by another with 10 victims laid out on my aunt's front lawn getting triaged.

Then, all the good men got together and put up f**king lights and the accidents stopped.

The solution for mass shootings is - us!

Our society is malfunctioning. It needs to be overhauled. Guns, parenting, teaching, politics, corporations, all of it.

Ever try changing all four tires on a car that has a bad transmission - won't make a bit of difference.

We built this society - who thinks for one bloody minute that we can't rebuild it?!
