This is a tough one George. When some people offer Thoughts and Prayers after a tragedy, say like Sen. Ted Cruz in America saying as much after a mass shooting and after he's gotten off the phone with the NRA to get clarity on what he should say -- the phrase begins to lose its meaning.

Like the 50th person saying - saying sorry for your loss to someone who's just lost a loved one. Words are often place holders - waiting for something to follow - something meaningful. When they don't, the words no longer hold that same importance. I think that's what's happening with Thoughts and Prayers. There's nothing at all wrong with the words - we've just gotten a little disheartened waiting for the follow up that doesn't come.

But kudos for your piece. We can't stop saying it or others like it, we just have to keep pushing for the follow up. Like the laws that back the sentiments. Cheers.
