This is a wonderful piece, Paul. It takes a highly complex subject and breaks it down into understandable parts. I can clearly see how businesses that employ people from various cultures, run the risk, whether understood or not, of creating conflicts solely based on where a person learned "their take" on business etiquette or business life.
I especially liked the point of low & high context. I think the ideal would be a "mid-context", where respect for other viewpoints and personalities lives side by side with the urge to communicate clearly and directly.
