I sold my first children’s story in 1981. Had two daughters. Stopped writing. Then started again. Wrote TV and film scripts on spec in the 1990s. Got an agent … then lost her. Got another and lost her as well. Published a dozen non-fiction articles in the 2000s and lost sight of the keyboard for a decade, while life rolled on.

Found Medium in 2019 and started posting articles. Daunting.

Fear is what you feel just before diving into the deep-end. Afterwards … other emotions take hold. Joy, exhilaration, panic, despair, frustration, acceptance, peace …. It’s a journey.
