Well said. I wish I could put my finger on exactly what it is that happens here. Sometimes I feel like I almost have it . . . then it's gone. People 40-50 years ago disagreed with me, my parents and the guy across the street.

But the first thing out of their mouth wasn't - you're wrong you asshole. It was more gentle, more measured. There was this understanding that not everyone was going to agree. Now it's - yeah half will definitely disagree and we know that upfront.
