What lovely words, Desiree. And as happens so many times on Medium, another writer has been reading my thoughts.

My writing trajectory of late, has been feeling like the airliner on a 14 mile runway for takeoff. I like what I write and do feel others appreciate it as well. But it seemed to be missing, je ne sais quoi ... something. Now I'm starting to think that what it's really missing, is more of the same.

I think you're right, one must reach out onto other platforms. Meet & greet with new people and allow the process to take hold. Grow, without necessarily changing.

I've been writing since I was 5, but never professionally - never "for a living". In my mind it's --- Good God, isn't it time yet to be great?
