When I was young, the adults around me, thought I was too shy and unwilling to talk. The irony was that I was in communication with everything around me. I walked to kindergarten everyday at age 5, and took in the sounds and colors and smells of the city. I watched the faces of those I past. Were they happy or sad or doing what I was doing. I absorbed everything and at times was left overwhelmed by the emotions all around me. But I kept moving forward. Kept listening and learning.

These experiences color who we are and how we think. Which kind of explains why some people think I'm very articulate and wise, while others think I'm totally weird and should come with a warning notice. 😁

But that's okay. In the end, we are who we are.

I appreciate all that you're saying, Rebecca and understand it. Feeling that we are part of a universal whole, is all rather normal to me - nothing to be alarmed about.

Non-ordinary events were probably pretty commonplace somewhere down the line. Hopefully we'll get back to it again soon.

Thanks for this article, Ms. Romanelli. 😊🧡
