Once I started reading up on the Spanish Inquisition years ago, I threw out any notion that there were limits to Man's cruelty against its fellow Man. There aren't any. Only limits of imagination.

Sad and horrific.

Writing a story like this is important, but it's also takes a price on both the writer and the reader. But it's a price that we need to pay right now.
