Governments manipulating public opinion using whatever means available. This is a surprise? To whom?

People using whatever means are available to communicate their ideas, and their points of view. Again, this is a surprise? Why?

Facebook, Twitter and other platforms expose another, and in my opinion, more urgent problem — our general inability to differentiate between lies, facts, half-truths and outright BS. They all look alike on the Internet. That, is worrisome.
