Writing is a lot like sailing. When there's a fair wind at our back and the going is kind of easy, all is well in the world. When the winds die down, the heat rises and all is still, then writing like sailing becomes a chore. A hurdle without the race - just something we keep climbing over for the hell of it. Then it's back! The sails billow and we're off - fun returns. Writing a book - like sailing around the world - a big challenge. Best of luck.
