Yes he would. This reminds me of something.

There’s a movie from 1967 (I’m dating myself) called, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. The lead was played by Robert Morse.

In the movie, this character is “mentoring” a young fellow on how to do what he does. Skate through life without being serious or committed to anything or anyone. One rule he’s teaching him, is Deny Deny Deny. No matter what happens, deny it.

In one scene, the lead, is caught in bed with another woman by his wife. The lover escapes, while the lead calmly gets dressed. A shaken and upset wife asks him, “How could you do that?”

How could I do what?

“How could you sleep with another woman?”

What woman?

You can see where this goes. As the scene ends a confused and deflated wife sits on the bed staring off into space.

I believe Trump must have watched this movie often. Or perhaps, the movie was based on someone like him.

Denying can be an effective tool and Trump is certainly good at it. But in the end Truth will out.
